The San Francisco Council of the Navy League of the United States would like to extend an invitation to you and the members of USNAAA SF Bay Area to join us at our reception 5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday October 13th at the St. Francis Yacht Club on the Marina Green in San Francisco.    I’ve attached our announcement letter and invitation for you and your members.  RSVPs are required and this is not open to the general public.

As we emerge from the pandemic shutdown, we’re pleased to continue our partnership with the St. Francis Yacht Club Weekly Yachting Luncheon,  and I believe there could be opportunities in the future to partner with USNAAA SF Bay Area.  Please share this invitation with your members and please don’t hesitate to reach out to me with any questions.

It has been an honor to be your president for the past 18 months and to do the best we can to stay connected during distanced and challenging times. 

Healthy organizations always thrive with new perspectives and it is time for new leadership in 3 board positions.

President – Lead and represent the chapter. Estimated time commitment (2-4 hours a month)

Secretary – Participate as a board member and assist in communications. (1-3 hours a month)

Treasurer – Participate as a board member and maintain the bank account. (1-3 hours a month)

Our chapter membership drive continues, membership rates have been drastically reduced to only $5 per year to meet the chapter needs of our new times.

The San Francisco Bay Area Chapter membership management system has transitioned to USNA.com, now providing you a more streamlined and very efficient way to join and renew your chapter membership.

We are also offering a SUMMER SPECIAL for the first 200 alumni to join the chapter for 3 or 5 years, your memberships will be extended by one year for free!

It has been a long time since many of you have renewed your chapter memberships, understandably, since many of our events have been tough to join because of time or regional distance. Our dues have been restructured to incentivize our alumni engagement.

** Lifetime $0.00 Chapter Membership applies to alumni whose class has participated in the Another Link In The Chain (i.e., your Graduation Day was more than fifty years ago = class of 1970 and prior). You will need to visit USNA.com every year to renew your FREE membership. The chapter needs to know that you are still alive and kicking.

3. Call for board members! Are you interested in supporting the chapter? DM me or email me via our contact page.
4. Virtual Calendar coming soon. In case it wasn’t clear, ALL in-person events for 2020 have been canceled.
5. The Superintendant Vice Admiral Sean Buck will be addressing the western region chapters on thursday, July 30th at 11:45 am PDT. This Town Hall with the Superintendent will be open to ALL ALUMNI (whether or not you have joined the chapter, yet). VTC details will be shared when available! Mark you calendars.
